EMIS
An education management information system developed for TeleTaleem (T2), Pakistan’s education technology social enterprise. Remote schools log in to run their daily administration through it — GPS-verified staff attendance, student records, inventory, petty cash and expenses — while cluster managers and inspectors report on every site.
Product features
Location & clusters
Division, district and tehsil hierarchy. Each school is geotagged, and schools in a tehsil are grouped into a cluster under one controller.
School data
Infrastructure details with photographs, and existing inventory with its working status — updated by inspectors on six-monthly site visits.
Staff management
Staff records with CNIC, contact details, qualifications, experience and salary banking details. Attendance is GPS-verified against the school’s location.
Student management
Admissions, edits and removals by school and class. Profiles hold B-Form, parents’ CNIC and contacts, admission form, discipline card and exam results. Records and attendance history are kept after a student leaves.
Inventory
Fixed and moveable assets and consumables, prepared at cluster level and distributed to schools, with inspectors confirming operational status.
Finance
Petty cash for teachers, coordinator budgets linked to visit reports, uploaded expense receipts, and community fund records with donor and receiver details.
Calendar & notifications
Events, holidays and tasks assigned to teachers. Alerts for inventory thresholds, absences and new users.
Help desk
Users raise tickets for the help desk to resolve.
Reporting
Field visits, daily dengue and visitor reports, curriculum coverage, teacher competence before and after training, student results on a bell curve, and staff action logs.
